I'm only going to post the Gospel reading since it is Palm Sunday and I would like any conversation to focus on the Passion. Have a most blessed Holy Week.

Happy feast day! 25 March is also the feast of the Annunciation, but since it falls on a Sunday the actual observance will be Monday the 26th.

My apologies for the long, unintended hiatus from posting in the community. I would like to get us back on track if possible, so I decided to renew the mission of the community. Hopefully something like this doesn't happen again.

Since an overwhelming majority (100%) voted to open the community for general questions aside from just the liturgical readings, as of this post we will be doing so. I will continue posting the Sunday readings on Saturday for discussion involving them.

Let us pray:

St. Jerome, you love the Word and preached the Good News. Grant us your intercession so that this community may be fruitful as the Lord commanded. We ask a small share in your saintly guidance; aid us to love the Word as you did.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and kindle in them the fire of Thy love. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created and Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. O God, Who taught the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that, by the gift of the same Spirit, we may be always truly wise, and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

If everyone could please cast their vote or suggest an alternative route I would appreciate it. I'd like to know everyone's thoughts for the direction of the community. This was suggested by augustine here.

Does anyone have some comments and/or suggestions about the community so far? What do you think of the weekly posts? Should I modify the readings at all, possibly retain verse numbers? What can we do in order to promote the community and to work toward our goal?

Any and all feedback is appreciated.

My apologies for the rather long absence in posting the readings. I ended up getting rather discouraged after so long when no one was commenting. Perhaps I entered with a certain idea of the community and when that didn't happen right away it was depressing. I'll make the attempt to post the readings regularly once again. Hopefully we can get more members soon and have some real good discussions. This is what the community is for afterall and I would rather enjoy having people come away with a better understanding of a particular passage of Scripture because of this community.
